Publish a finished video to social networks

How to send a finished video or clip to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram and WhatsApp from inside the system — and what each network accepts.

Publishing here means uploading a finished file, not going live. You pick a video, write a title and description, tick the channels it goes to, and the system uploads it to each one separately and reports what succeeded.

Where to start

Three doors lead to the same screen:

• The Content page — upload a new file and publish it in one move.
• Storage or the Clips page — the Publish button on a video's card opens the "Publish to your channels" window.
• The editor — Publish now first renders your current cut to a file, then hands that finished file to the same channel picker. There is no second publishing interface; the editor passes the job to the main screen.

Which networks accept a video

Real video upload exists for YouTube, Facebook Pages, Instagram (a business account linked to a Page), TikTok, Telegram and WhatsApp.

Two notes that save frustration:

• X and LinkedIn appear in the list but are disabled for video, with the reason shown in place. Publishing text to them works; uploading video does not yet.
• A personal Facebook profile is not a possible destination. Facebook offers no automated upload to a private profile, only to a Page. The system says so plainly rather than failing quietly.

Networks that are live-only destinations — Twitch or a raw RTMP endpoint, for example — do not appear in the picker for a finished video at all.

What you fill in

• Title — required, up to 100 characters.
• Description or caption — becomes the YouTube description and the post text elsewhere.
• Visibility — public, unlisted or private. This governs YouTube; on other networks the post follows the Page or account settings.
• Thumbnail — optional, offered for videos that are not short vertical ones.
• Also post as a Story — a separate tick for Instagram and Facebook.
• Schedule for later — a date and time instead of publishing now.

There is no tags field and no category chooser. The YouTube category is fixed, so if a particular category matters to you, change it on YouTube after the upload.

Who decides it is a Short or a Reel

The networks decide from the shape of the file, not from a button:

• YouTube treats a vertical video of up to three minutes as a Short. No API field declares it, so the system marks the description accordingly when it detects that shape.
• Facebook sends a vertical video of up to 90 seconds down the Reels path. If that path fails, the video is posted as an ordinary feed video rather than being lost.
• Instagram publishes any video as a Reel by default. A Story requires the tick box.

So a vertical clip made here reaches Shorts and Reels with no further setting.

Worth knowing before you upload

• Instagram pulls the video from a public address and will not accept a file from your computer. A video held in our storage satisfies that; Instagram may also spend a few minutes processing the file before it goes up.
• TikTok distinguishes an upload permission from a publish permission. If the account granted only the upload permission, the video lands in your TikTok drafts inbox waiting for you to approve it there — the upload succeeded, the publish did not complete. The system reports this explicitly.
• Telegram limits how large a file a bot may send, so an oversized file is refused with a clear message rather than hanging.
• YouTube always uploads to the channel the chosen connection belongs to. A video cannot be redirected to another channel inside the request — you choose a channel by choosing the connection.
• An over-long title is trimmed to the length each network accepts, rather than letting the upload fail.

Following a publish

Each publish becomes a job with a separate result per network, and the screen updates while the uploads run. A network that fails is retried automatically a few times before it is marked failed, and the message explains what happened.

If a channel's connection has expired, a Token expired — reconnect mark appears beside it. Clicking it opens a connection window and returns you to the same place.

There is also a guard against posting at a rate the networks read as spam: if you try to post too densely to one network, the request is stopped on our side with an explanation, rather than risking a restriction from the network.

Scheduling a publish

Scheduling here is real rather than a timer in the browser: the job is stored with its moment, and a standing background process picks it up when the moment arrives. You can close the browser and switch the computer off.

How many channels per publish

The number of channels you can tick in a single publish follows your plan. If you tick more than the plan allows, you are told before the upload begins.

Frequently asked questions

Can I publish straight from the editor?

Yes. Publish now renders your cut to a file and then hands it to the main screen's channel picker. If you opened the editor outside the app, the button asks you to open it from inside the app instead.

Why is my TikTok video not on my profile?

The account most likely granted only the upload permission and not the publish permission. In that case the video waits in your TikTok drafts inbox for you to approve it. Reconnecting with the full permission fixes it for future posts.

How do I make YouTube treat a video as a Short?

There is no setting for it. YouTube decides on its own from a vertical video of up to three minutes. A vertical clip made here already meets that.

Can I publish to a personal Facebook profile?

No. Facebook allows automated publishing to a Page only. You can connect a Page and publish there.
